A LITTLE TRAILER. A LOT OF CHARACTER.

Good coffee.
Real people.
No shortcuts.

Meet Tincan Coffee — a small, independent coffee business taking shape inside a hand-built, vintage-inspired teardrop trailer. We're working towards being ready for bookings by summer 2027.

✳ MADE BY HAND✳ PROPER ESPRESSO✳ HOPEFULLY SUMMER ’27

Made by hand.
Served with a smile.

We're building a coffee stop with a bit of old-fashioned charm. We'll start with properly made coffee and a selection of treats, with the ambition to add freshly made doughnuts as the business grows.

The trailer might be small, but we want the experience to feel personal, welcoming and worth stopping for.

Two cheerful plush mascots: a coffee bean and a white coffee cup

Hands on the machine.
Not a button in sight.

Our approach is proudly hands-on. We're choosing manually operated espresso equipment, with real attention paid to grinding, tamping, extraction and milk preparation. No automatic push-button coffee dispensers or vending-style shortcuts masquerading as a proper coffee bar.

It takes a little more care and practice, and that's exactly the point. We believe the person making your coffee should be part of the experience.

No social media.
And that's intentional.

We won't be running social media accounts. We don't believe social media is a healthy way to build a real community, and we're not interested in chasing likes, manufactured hype or overly polished posts.

Instead, we'd rather grow through word of mouth, good coffee and genuine human interaction. When we're open, you'll be able to reach us directly by email, phone and this website — and, best of all, by coming over for a chat.

Bookings: we're aiming for summer 2027, subject to the build and preparations being completed. Contact details and booking information will be added here nearer opening.

to Tincan Coffee.

Curious how it all started? We've kept a photo-filled build diary of the trailer's transformation, the tools, the metalwork and the coffee machines. The whole story is here, in three parts.
